Crank My Cat

Hi. I'm Caleb, Crm.D., Chief Cat Cranker. Born and raised in Odessa, TX. I started this website some time ago, but am just now really getting around to organizing it like it should be. I learned how to work on Caterpillars from my dad and went to work for him right out of high school. I then worked for Warren Cat (the local dealership) for about 5 years in both the overhaul department and then Power Systems. I quit in 2003 and went into business for myself. For the past 5 or 6 years, I have serviced Cat diesel engines on drilling rigs here in the Permian Basin.
By the way... I am fully aware that there are Cat Crankers out there with WAAAAY more knowledge and experience than me. The term "Chief Cat Cranker" is kind of an inside joke. It merely signifies that CrankMyCat is a product of my twisted mind.

I also have experince in Detroit, Onan,Cummins, Generac, Olympian, and many other electronic engines and generators. I own Trinity Power Generation and have been self employed for about 1-1/2 years.
